2nd Production Title

This is our second production title we will be using in the trailer. This is the background we shall use for our second production title, because we thought it looked better than "White House Films", because this background is more naturalistic and creative and really goes with our trailer. With this background we will use white text so that the audience can read the text and can see it clearly when it is shown in the trailer. We will be using this production title to replace the "White House Film" because we feel as a group that it didn't fit well into our trailer were as this updated production title will look much better for the trailer. 

1st Production Title

This is the first production title we had created for our trailer. "Asylum Productions" came from the idea of our antagonist in the trailer escaping from an Asylum which is effective and a creative way of having the production title in our trailer. For the image, we wanted something different such as an old fashion camera/projection  as its something different and wanted to be unique, this is also something simple and didn't want to complicate things. As a group we feel that this image fits well for the production title and will look good in our trailer once added. 

Behind the scenes of The Craze

During filming for our trailer we chose to take a photo whilst on location and in between filming shots. This image is showing you what kind of camera angle and shot we used for the upcoming scene we started to film. It also shows you the location we are in which is down by a little stream in Ashtead Common. This shows that Baily was committed to get into the stream to film that perfect shot. 

Location Pictures From Air Raid Shelter

                                                      Pictures From Air Raid Shelter Location:

When we went into Epsom, we had come across an abandoned Air Raid Shelter and thought we should have a look inside to see if this location would be effective and useful for our trailer. We wanted to take photos of this location so that we could maybe use many of these features in our film trailer. All photos were taken by myself and Sean as we went into the shelter to see how good it could be, Sean helped me take the photos by having many torches beside the camera because inside the shelter it was very dark and hard to see many things.

Green Screen Protection Images

In our trailer The Craze, we will be having scenes of a news report in a studio for the news. The images below are what we will be using on the green screen as a projection for when it comes to filming the actual scene. This will then benefit Baily and Hannah as the News reporters as it will make them look like they are in a news studio. 

This is the news studio we will be using for Baily who is one of the news reporters and the green screen will be able to show that he is sitting in the studio ready to present the news to the audience.







This is then the desk being put into the studio so that Baily is show sitting down at the desk as if he is presenting the news, which is what we want when filming this scene.

Props being used

 

One of the props we will be using is a wanted poster of the antagonist in our trailer. The wanted poster will be used in a scene when Sean and Shannon come across this poster and are concerned what will happen next as they know a clown has escaped.

 With the clown we wanted to add some effects so that the clown would look terrifying for the audience when it came to film those certain scenes. These teeth would make the clown look like he doesn't look after himself because of the way the teeth are shaped, but this would also give a crazy appearance for the clown.










Another prop will shall be using is the actual clown mask for the antagonist as in our trailer we have a slogan which says "Beneath his mask, reveals his story" as so we wanted the clown to have a mask rather than makeup because it would be effective towards the slogan and the audience will feel intrigued what is underneath his mask.

Final Clown Look

The image above is the final look for our clown. As a group we had decided it would be easier to use a clown mask rather than using makeup, like in my previous post it shows Baily wearing makeup to look like a clown, but we are using this clown mask because it doesn't cause any problems for us when filming our trailer.

Reason we aren't using makeup for the clown is because it was hard each time to get it to look the exact same as what we had designed for our final look of the clown, but using the mask is effective because in our trailer we have a slogan "Beneath his mask reveals his story" which relates to the clown wearing a mask because the audience do not know what this character looks like underneath the mask. Having the antagonist wearing this mask makes it quite tense for the audience, because they can only see his eyes which is great as the clown will always have eyes on the audience but also will make the audience feel under pressure while watching the trailer.

Clown makeup development

So before we had a few makeup ideas of what the clown could possibly look like in our trailer. As a group we decided we wanted to development the look of the clown so that he does look terrifying and crazy enough to be a clown. The use of the colour black connotes darkness and horror which really relates to the genre of our trailer. There is then the use of red which is the colour around the lips and on the nose of the character which connotes death and blood and this could hint to the audience that he is a dangerous and aggressive clown. We wanted to keep the white foundation on his face as it covers all of his skin colour and in the trailer we want his identity to be hidden. The way we have done the makeup this time round is that it is more effective for our trailer and will make the audience appeal more.

Wanted Poster final idea

 This is our final choice of what the wanted poster will look like before adding any other features, we wanted something basic and not over the top as it is only a wanted poster for our antagonist. Using a wanted poster in our trailer will be effective because the audience will then think there is a threat to the main characters because of seeing this poster who is wanted which shows this character is dangerous. 

                                               

This poster above is our final idea for the wanted poster. We have added a photo of the antagonist so that the audience know who is wanted. We have also added a little bit of information about where the antagonist was last seen and what he looks like, as this is something that would be done on a typical wanted poster.
